The Rockies and Orioles have finalized a deal that will send SP Jeremy Guthrie to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for Jason Hammel and Matt Lindstorm. Guthrie was the O’s opening day starter in 2011 and in the 32 starts after that went 9-17 with a 4.33 ERA in his worst year ever. The Rockies have been looking for an arm with stuff and Guthrie has plenty of stuff. I suspect he will be their opening day starter and have a come back year.
